Like clockwork, big trains pass by the shop each hour. Screaming Amtrak cruisers and snail-paced long, long freight liners, that always seem to come to a stop right where they shouldn’t, messing up traffic cycles and cutting off the two sides of our little industrial neighborhood. They are relentless. Their horn calls, metal shrieks and dinging bells command the air.

Every now and again I’ll go out there to dig on the type on those big freighters. Some of the best logos across the land, along with all sorts of horseshit graffiti, from the insipid “style wars” raging in the dark shadows across the land.

So here’s our tribute to those rail cars out there. Those trains keep coming and coming, and beeping and grinding and fucking up our phone calls. If you can’t beat ‘em, join it. Fuck it. Here’s to the railways of America!
