Fender Guitars

In 2018 Jeremy Taylor from Fender reached out about doing a poster for one of the new Fender “Parallel Universe” guitars. I studied the guitars and picked the “Meteora”—a hybrid of of a Telecaster and Jazzmaster. Pretty dang cool. The posters turned out AMAZING and sold out in a blur. I got to work for Fender! DESIGN DREAM ACHIEVED.

Once the poster is submitted and being printed, Jeremy reaches out and says, “What guitar do you want?” And I’m instantly confused. Guitar? Want? Huh? “Pick one out. Which one don’t you have?” he says. And I freak out. This isn’t supposed to be happening. And I just blurt out, “Bruce Springsteen “Born To Run” cover Telecaster!”

And a couple weeks later a butterscotch American Telecaster shows up. And I about died. So so so cool. Thank you, Jeremy. I’ll have that thing FOREVER.
