In October of 2020 I read a Tweet from AOC about “struggling to make a design” for her “AOC+ME” initiative. Which always blows me away. A person with her fame, notoriety and guts, and couldn’t find a designer to nail a graphic? Always surprising.

So I went for it and whipped up a couple designs and posted them. Got some good feedback from colleagues out there, as well as a handful of spicy comments from the dumb-dumbs.

Their campaign reached out, as I guess Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez dug what she saw, and wanted to add it to her merch collection. I was more than happy to contribute. To see her stand up to turds in our bureaucracy like she does. I appreciate that kind of grit.
