Lib Tech was bad ass. On so many levels. Made in the Northwest by peers, proven in all conditions of the Cascades and the best part? They didn’t take themselves too seriously. Of course, they took the product seriously, but delivered it in a way that quickly demystified the process. Whereas Burton had a Willy Wonka quality to how they made all the stuff, Lib Tech would show photos of scrubs making the shit, then riding it on the weekend. I loved that part about them. They’re still at it, kicking ass! Respect.
