I’ve been a fan of O all the way back to his Olivelawn days, and subsequent Fluf records. A handful of years back, I was lucky to get to know Josh Higgins on the design lecture circuit. He put me in touch with O, and when he’d roll through town with J Mascis solo shows or Dinosaur Jr., we’d hang. An encyclopedia of San Diego rock, guitars, records, skateboarding and radness. Loved the guy. R.I.P.
When he called with his Harshmellow project? I went nuts. And we made a kick-ass kit for it, and birthed it on the DDC Records label, whatever the hell that means? Snag a copy here!
