I met Leigh in Traverse City in the fall of 2006, while visiting Mom and Dad. One Aerin Sweeney took me up to the Top of the Park to meet her and I remember being nervous and a bit wobbly. Couple weeks later, she hit me up on MySpace and we became pen pals. Turns out, I swept her off her feet a couple hundred feet above Traverse City. It’s undeniable that the girl has a “bad case of the Draplins.” That shit’s just chemical.
Leigh has an M.ed. (that’s a Master’s of Education degree). She likes to go outside. She is a mom. She is a student of everything. She is SMART as hell. She’s fucking great. She’s got her own brand of merch, and it’s spicy like she is! Check it out! I roped her into the DDC to handle the shipping and management of the merch side of my business. We’ve traveled the world together slinging my wares. She does SO MUCH for the DDC—too much to list— I am a lucky man, and I love her.
