Arcade Belts

In 2023, I was hit up by a very-buried-in Leslie Thompson from her snow hut in a very-buried-in Lake Tahoe. “Aaron, my roof is creaking under the weight!” She was calling about doing a couple belt designs for Arcade Belts. And I knew all about them!

I fly Delta for the majority of my flights, out of the “D” gates at the PDX airport. I’d walk by this sporting goods store and would see their Arcade Belts display by the entrance. I’d marvel at their design details and burly packaging, always noting the strength of the logo design too!

When she called I did my “Are you sure I’m still relevant to this stuff?” diatribe and she assured me I’d be capable of making some cool graphics for their belts. You have to understand, with each day that goes by, I move a bit farther and farther away from my time in the action sports world and just always want to keep myself and my output in check, in the appropriate realms.

We made a couple awesome belts and then Kevin Walker and Kenny Perkins picked it up for the marketing side of things for the launch and Instagram announcements. They were great fellas to work with and it was awesome to see them go live!

As these words go to print, Jacob is folding up our stash of the belt kits. They turned out INCREDIBLE. The belts are loaded with awesome, little design and fit details which got me to them in the first place! And we made a little kit that comes with this ballistic, limited edition case that you can reuse! Double awesome.
