Marc Greuther. What an incredible champion of artifacts big and small. And of my heroes, House Industries! Of all the things I’ve seen at the Henry Ford Museum, the House show takes the cake. I devoured every piece in there!

I used to visit the Henry Ford Museum as a kid. Dad would take Sarah and I there on hot days to enjoy the air conditioning during the hot parts of the summer days on Joy Road at Gramma Josie’s place.

The tour with Kristin Gallerneaux was MIND-BLOWING. We saw Andy Warhol’s paper dress, the first Apple computer prototype and wave after wave of artifacts they had preserved. One of the coolest things Leigh and I have ever seen. Thank you, Kristin!

What an honor to roll my sleeves up for the Henry Ford Museum and Mark, Kristin and Josh Wojick.

I just wish Dad and Gramma Josie could see the stuff I got to make for them! It was awesome showing Mom and Sarah. They got it.

I remember getting goodies in the Henry Ford Museum gift shop as a kid on field trips. Crusty antiqued parchment Declaration of Independence replicas! Loved that stuff. To have a bunch of merch items in there with this project? One of my greatest design honors.
