Nails Goals
My baby sister Leah is a nail tech and esthetician here in Portland, Ore. She went to school at the Beau Monde Academy of Barbering and Cosmetology, earning her Nail Technician and Esthetician licenses in early 2019.
Leah and brother-in-law Jacob Ashley gutted their garage in Portland and built out a city-approved studio. Dedicated air conditioning/heat, proper sink, updated lighting, and a clean paint job. The final touch was painting the logo on the wall!
I go over to Leah’s studio every 3-4 weeks to get my nails done. As a lifelong nail-biter, her tune-ups are CRUCIAL in my day-to-day existence. Before Leah’s help, I’d do five and six year runs not biting them. But one broken nail would send me whirling off into oblivion, and before I knew it, I’d be off the wagon and then gnawing on stumps. That’s dumb.
