Donnie Vincent

One of the coolest parts about my job is being surprised when someone reaches out. I’ll quickly look them up to suss out if I’m a good fit, and when I land on Donnie Vincent? All those arrow tips, piles of meat and horns had me a little on edge. Was I the right guy for the job? For a burly outdoorsman?

I quickly hopped on a call with Donnie and had a couple incredible conversations about life, wild grasses, conservation, hunting gigantic animals, packing them out great distances, health and general wildness.

Donnie is a sweet guy who could gut an Aaron Draplin in 41 seconds. That’s abundantly clear. I was very impressed by what he’d built for himself, and how he was pushing his commitment to his cause with grit, wit, beautiful filmmaking and hard work. Was proud to contribute it!
