Four scrubs meeting up in Chicago, packing into some kind of rental rig, careening across Indiana in the middle of the dark, desolate night to Defiance, Ohio. Dale, Evan, Jess and Aaron. Once the sun comes up, the junkin' begins. Four days of wild, sun-up-to-sundown treasure hunting spanning five states and some 630 fuckin' miles. Not for the weak of heart. You man enough? That first running August of 2008, our Portland cinematographer friend Jess Gibson brought along his gear and filmed the whole damned thing. Mind you, whilst junking the entire stretch. He was burning the Dale at both ends. Once back to Portland he downloaded his multitude of SyQuest drives and worked up an 8-minute film of our exploits.
