Hands down, President Barack Obama was the greatest president of our lifetime. Of course I voted for him. I voted for Michelle, too. I voted for progress, hope and change. To get to work for his administration was one of the greatest honors of my life.

Commonly referred to as the Stimulus or The Recovery Act, this economic stimulus package was enacted by Congress in February 2009 and signed into law on February 17, 2009, by President Barack Obama.

We got the call on a Wednesday, and I was working away on it that night. Portland buddy Jess Gibson was messing around filming me on a possible documentary about my little DDC mess. As soon as I got the job, I called Jess and he came over to document my start, initial research, sketching and first wave of vectors. That first night!
There’s a little fold to this tale that I prob’ly shouldn’t talk about, but here goes: We already had a roadtrip to go junking u- in Spokane that weekend. planned. And this came up! And I dove right in, but committed to going to Spokane with Dale and Jess. Jess being Jess, he brought his shoulder harness video recorder along and filmed the whole mission.
Here’s some scenes from the kick-off, and then working in the back seat of my Passat wagon, on up to Spokane. Intensity!!!
