U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree

In October I got the call up to the big leagues from Travel Oregon to work on Capitol Christmas Tree project. Every year the US Forest Service selects and cuts the US Capitol Christmas tree from a national forest and in 2018 the tree was coming from Oregon’s Willamette National Forest—fitting as Oregon is the top producer of Christmas trees in the world! Here’s a little proof from the convoy trucking the tree all the way to Washington D.C.! So cool!

Here’s an article about the Papé Kenworth transport team driving the tree from Oregon to the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.

It was an honor to roll my sleeves up for Oregon and America! Special thanks to Mark Senffner for taking good care of me on this one.
