John Denver

I’ve been lucky to do a handful of projects for Dinosaur Jr. through Amy Abrams and Brian Schwartz of Denver’s 7S Management. They have a big roster of artists they watch over, from Nathaniel Rateliff to Grace Potter to Hiss Golden Messenger to Dawes to Mary Chapin Carpenter and a whole mess of other up-and-comers. And inside that big roster is the John Denver Estate. They maintain all things John Denver for his estate. There was a new trail being named after John and Amy hit me up to do the sign for it! And somewhere along the line, the graphic got used for the 50th anniversary release of his classic “Rocky Mountain High.”

I grew up with that stuff! I mean, didn’t everyone who breathed a breath in the ’70s? Pretty sure. Such an honor to contribute to a classic American singer/songwriter!
