MondoCon, Austin, Tex.

I still don’t complete grasp Mondo, and all the cool stuff it makes. Our buddy Seth Putnam invited me in 2015. Friends Dan Black of LandLand, Mike, Wes, Jody Ben and Sara of Burlesque and Jay Ryan of The Bird Machine would be there, so that was enough for me. Plus I knew Aaron Horkey from my time in Minneapolis.

You have to understand, I don’t do the movie poster thing, you know? So you get this weird anxiety that you are going to show up and have crickets chirping in your booth. That’s NOT what happened. Things were ape shit ALL years we’ve been to MondoCon. We’ve made so many friends over the years, and I can’t wait to come back to a real in-person event soon!
