fIREHOSE tONIGHT, aND wE bLEW iT

FUCK, WE BLEW IT: fIREHOSE is playing in Portland tonight, and we didn’t jump on it, and we remain ticketless as these words go tp to print. That sucks. So it goes. I need a little Watt.

But I’m glad I got to see ‘em back in ‘92. At St. Andrew’s Hall. Stood next to Watt for Polvo’s set. I loved Polvo instantly! Anyhoo, I tapped Watt on the shoulder and shook his hand, and got burnt by his ‘gar. This was back when smoking inside was still “a thing.” Still have that scar on my hand to this day. He apologized and it was weird and awesome and all Watt. I remember this. He prob’ly doesn’t.

It sucks missing the show tonight. At least Harry and Ian are seeing them up in Seattle. That does a body good too.
