THE MAN HAD A WAY WITH WORDS: Leigh's been on a real "Presidential Kick" the last week or so, and is rather in entrenched in the Kennedy dynasty. Tonight, she found this one: The Presidents: Lyndon B. Johnson on PBS' American Experience. Four hours of a fascinating man. Vulgar, compassionate, mean-spirited, caring, nasty, sweet, strong-arming, humane. All over the place, this guy was. I never really knew how rough it was for him during the Vietnam years. Big, big mistakes...and he stuck to his guns.

Daily
