Blindsided By Shipping Charges

POSTER SHIPPING UPDATES: Some hard words to type out. No need for alarm or anything, just, I've got a mountain of posters ready to ship, and went to start shipping them and got some rough news: Due to the size of the poster tube at 4" x 26", it puts the shipping cost into the spendiest category.Now, for domestic orders, not much changes. I will simply eat what the overage was. Lesson learned. But for Canadian orders, the shipping cost was double what I had expected, and that puts a damper on things this afternoon real hard. For international orders, it's just about triple what I expected. Fuuuuck.And I did my research, or so I thought. Fuck. Feeling a bit blindsided. Blindsided when I was trying to orangeside you guys!So, notices will be going out to all the good people of Canada about the shipping drama. Quotes are going out soon to all you guys far away past North American borders too, so sit tight.You know, I don't really worry too much about profits or margins or whatever. I just like to go for it. As long as I can cover my costs, make a fraction over and above what I put into it, and cover all shipping and shit along the way, I am cool. But man, the poster tubes are a flat rate and shit jumps fiercely when they leave the United States. It's the same rate it would cost to go from "Portland to Vancouver, BC" as it is from "Portland all the way over to Nova Scotia."So, a minor setback. Be patient, everyone. Those posters are going out VERRRRY soon, with extras, goodies, trinkets and 936 square inches of the baddest-ass orange you ever laid eyes upon.For our Canadian friends, that translates to 2378 square centimeters!
