I'm heading back to Michigan today for a couple reasons:01. To see my lady: Pretty Leigh.02. To see my hound: Howling Gary.03. To see my parents: Strong and Steady Mom and Dad, year 38.Real excited to get back there and chill the hell out. Shit's been busy.- - - -The Seattle "AIGA The Hills Have Eyes" event went great. The deal sold out, and I'm betting 60 people were there or something. A packed house. We presented examples of our work, told our stories and then took some questions and yapped it up some. It was super fun and I got to meet a bunch of good folks, and tell the story of the DDC.And, as always, any chance to hang with Styk and Jynn from the D.O.E. is always awesome. Heck yes.I gave out a mountain of Field Notes, so, get to work, people!I drove right back to Portland after the event, and punched in for the late shift on the DDC Factory Floor. 1am-4am. Yikes. Gargling the midnight oil.- - - -A STERN WARNING: "Not to be messed with."
