Went with Leigh to see 3:10 To Yuma. Pretty good. Gritty. Characters were a little too good looking for my taste, considering the whole "western thing."I liked the Australian movie The Proposition.Now, that felt pretty sweaty and real. I liked my westerns dirty and gritty and sweaty and sad and unforgiving. Maybe, even, a little on the "understated" side. The old west was a ruthless place, and, all this Hollywood honor is just a little too, "invented" or something. Dicks.A saturday matinee with Leigh, back home.
