There's "drunk driving" and "drunk dialing" and, both of these'll get you into hot water. Now, is there such a thing as "drunk eBay'ing" ruining people's lives? There might be. Now, we haven't had a drop of ill will since Minneapolis, not a drop, and, the other night, online, well, we were drunk on something.Judgement was thrown out the window when we bid on the Sunset Motel sign above.We saw the opportunity to swoop in and rescue the thing, and did, then, took a look at where the thing was residing: "Missouri, USA." The location was beside the fact. Didn't matter. The orange arrow alone is worth the drive, but, the whole sign?What the fuck am I gonna do with this thing? Our adventure.Here are some options:01. Donate it to Todd at the American Sign Museum in Cincinnati.02. "Part it out" and hand off chunks to pals. IE: A star for Hoss, a star for Ryno.03. Just take what I need and let the owners "regift" the thing, or "re-eBay" the rest of it.04. Truck it back out to Oregon in April, when I head back.Either way, I am going to Missouri. And soon. Real good.
