MATT KASS, IN TAIWAN, REPRESENTS FOR THE DDC...

Matt Kass reported home today with a festive shot of himself, in some Taiwanese sporting goods store, that has a little logo I did, for a little Northwest company called, "Nike." You may or may not have heard of them, but, for those who haven't, well, they make shoes.Anyhoo, this mark was developed about a year back, through the gracious direction of Chris Hotz at Nemodesign. He led me through the darkness, through thicket and bramble, and we arrived at this solution.It's all over the world, man, finally seeing light on the new Air Max 360 kicks. Dig it. Many thanks to the Nick and Chris at Nemo for the opportunity.- - - -Pixel by pixel. Some fun links.- - - -I found this some time back, while surfing some Midwest links, and man, it made me want to drop it all and move the whole deal back to Minneapolis. Why? The idea of the "Small Shop Design Studio." Their whole package looks really appealing to me. Oh, the "they" I am talking about is a, "He." Sean Tubridy is his name. One guy, with good work. Nice, man, nice.When I left that town, I had grand ideas of doing something just this: Small, refined, cool little space, good work, and, in the Midwest.I still hold on to that idea, even way out west. I sorta gave up on it the last couple years, since I bought the house and all, but, lately, have been kicking the tires on a big move back that way.
