LEGO LEGO LEGO: We got carpet for the basement, you know, to give one half of the basement a little bit of humanity, you know? And damn, what a little carpet will do for a room. Suddenly, it’s a place. Warm. Soft to the foot. Kid-friendly!

And today we had a play date with little Oliver, tearing into some new LEGO Arctic sets. So cool. Orange as hell. Little snowcats and ice cruiser and snowmobiles and mobile ice stations. Love that stuff.

As Oliver grows up, I plan playing TONS of Legos with the little guy. Big plans. Little nephew.
