THAT ONE IS MESSED UP: Got to design the new Old 97’s “Most Messed Up” record! Did it through ATO Records in New York City. Saw that band a handful of times in the late ’90s, and even saw a string of shows across the upper East Coast. They got to know my face and the guitar guy Ken would give me drink tickets each night. I didn’t even really drink. Anyhoo, there’s something very, very satisfying about making a record for a band you dig. Just that simple. So cool. And good to re-meet you, Rhett! Thanks, fellas!
