Thank you so much for speaking for us last night. When you started off telling us that you didnt have special credentials, I felt like you were talking directly to me. Last week I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. I want to start a nonprofit to teach people how to cook nutritious meals on a low budget or an assistance program. Yesterday I was starting to have doubts. Im not a nutrioutionist, I’m not a chef, I’m just a woman who wants to help her community. Who would listen to me? But you came last night and told me repeatedly that it didn’t matter so long as it was good work and what I loved. I stood up afterwards with an overwhelming urge to hug you and then you hugged me! PS. I’m not the pretty outspoken republican, that’s my best friend and strongest supporter. I was the “real girl” in blue. :-) Posted by: Lea Stewart on 10/05/12 at 8:27 AM
