It was great meeting in in-person for the first time, last week. Should be noted that my Dad’s name IS Bob —- and yes, spending summers with him in Edmonton during the SCTV hay-days were HILARIOUS. Not a word of a lie: he’d get at least a 1/2 dozen crank calls a day. People asking if they can get free beer because they found a mouse in a bottle. Nothing like hearing your Pops yelling “No! Fuck YOU, hoser!” as he slams the phone down. Classic stuff. Also - make sure to look up “FUBAR” and “FUBAR 2: Balls to the wall”. 2 Amazing Canadian flicks … eh?
