FROM MY CHILDHOOD: I didn’t save too much stuff from my early childhood. I traded my Star Wars stuff in for G.I.Joes, G.I. Joes in for skateboards, etc. I did save all my Legos, and, my Adventure People.

And in my 38th year, I still remember those old logos, and wanted to get them on the site. In the spirit of kicking off 2012 with some spirited logo rescues, we offer you seven full-color views. Here’s a comprehensive link to all the old Adventure People figures. Heavily recommended. Another link to where you can see all the old sets.

We’ve got an old wood crate with these sets, missing all sorts of items, but there in spirit…

01. #305 Adventure People Air-Sea Rescue Copter.
02. #312 Adventure People Northwoods Trailblazer.
03. #354 The Adventure People Daredevil Skydiver.
04. #304 The Adventure People Wild Safari Set.
05. #356 The Adventure People Cycle Racing Team.
06. #353 The Adventure People Scuba Drivers.
07. #310 The Adventure People Sea Explorer.
08. #307 The Adventure People Wilderness Patrol.
09. #309 Adventure People TV Action Team.
10. #355 Adventure People White Water Kayak
11. #303 The Adventure People Emergency Rescue truck.

This is so great. I’d already moved on to other stuff by the time Adventure People arrived, I think (I got a handful of years on you, brother), but this kind of thing was a huge part of my childhood. Still love to see it celebrated.

Oh snap! These are great. I forgot all about Adventure People, which feels weird. I was all about Micronauts though, but I mixed and matched.

I had the sea explorer set with the chopper, the sub, and the octopus and it was one of my favorites as a kid. The only piece I still have is the chopper pilot, and that aero-marine search team logo is still burning on his back.

That sea explorer logo is awesome. BTW I saw your interview on ACL and I couldn’t agree more. Its disturbing to see the sludge that ends up on the shelves in front of us. I hope to see more of your designs in the future.
