I’VE NEVER BEEN SHY ABOUT THIS SENTIMENT: I love Minneapolis. My first couple weeks there were a little weird back in the fall of 1998, but that was just the “break-in” period. It’s always weird starting over somewhere. But I settled in fast and started loving that town. The record stores, the music venues, the diners, the junk stores…and damn, all these years later I still pine for those fun days.

I don’t like leaving Minneapolis. Always makes me sad as hell.
