STAND STRONG, PIXELWORKERS: You know who you are. Who we are. Sitting on these things all damn day, clicking away on stuff that makes us loot, loses loot, pushes along products, pays our mortgage, charts our time on the clock and off, and so many other aspects that escape me right now. This machine provides for my life. For other lives. I’m proud of what I do, and who I get to do it for. And it’s a safe bet you are in that same boat. It’s 2011, and sure, we’re prob’ly a little too connected, but hell, it beats the shit out of digging ditches or selling insurance. I’m forever thankful for the last decade-and-a-half doing this stuff. Blown away, really. And to celebrate our workforce, I accepted an invite from the United Pixelworkers of Pittsburgh to contribute a design to their growing rosters of pixel-inspired threads. They are featuring our offering for the next 30 days, and you can check it out here: “The DDC Standard Issue T-Shirt for the United Pixelworkers.” There’s some pretty heavy contributors in there. The likes of Tyler Galpin, Jessica Hische and Bobby McKenna. We’re proud as hell to be in the mix with these esteemed pixelworkers. Pixelworkers, unite! - - - - WE MADE A TORSO COVER FOR OHIO: Our “Ohio, USA” torso cover is up on the site, and shipping! Act now, Ohio! We made a mountain of things for our Cleveland WMC Fest gig, and sales went through the roof back there. Thank you! But we knew we’d want to sell some on the site, and that time starts right now. Right here. For Ohio! There is One Comment
Damn I want that United Pixelworkers shirt bad…but that damn American Apparel 2XL fits like a medium. I wish people would get over the need to use American Apparel. — Jaimie Posted by: Jaimie Muehlhausen on 07/11/11 at 10:03 AM
