I lived in Boulder 1988-91, bartended at the Sundown Saloon on Pearl St mall (just west of Broadway). 8 pool tables, good place to escape the heat for some billiards and beer. It’s subterranean (old storage space for a late 1800s hardware store). The friendly ghost of a young girl used to make appearances late at night when we cleaned the place. Don’t know if it’s still a good joint, but it was last time I dropped in (‘05). Enjoy your time in Boulder. They tell me I did. Posted by: Tom on 07/24/09 at 9:43 PM
