Just getting back from the printer, and holy hell, have we got something to show you. But can’t just yet. Gotta wait until the sonofabitch is printed, trimmed, stacked and delivered. They are drying over the weekend, and Monday, get ready for “a whole lotta orange.” Pretty serious. - - - - THAT ONE HIT THE MARMASPOT: If you want, you can read an interview with me over at the Marmaspot, which is broadcasted from Milwaukee! Thanks again, D! It was fun shooting the shit with you. Keep up the good work and killer questions! I’m honored, man. And DeChazier, you ain’t getting let off the hook that easy. No way. All you readers better go check out his work, as, his stuff is way good with great color, type and wit. Like this one. And with a name like, “Black Marmalade,” how can you go wrong? That’s one cool moniker. - - - - HE GOT “ECONO” FROM “ECONOLINE,” MAN: Mike Watt talks about his boats. Required viewing. Thank you, Watt. Lookin’ good, man, lookin’ good. If you don’t have the time, just skip ahead to “6:45” to hear the best snippet of the whole interview. Words to live by by. Words to drive by. Watt was in Portland last night and man, it hurt to miss his gig. Had to work late. (Willy, I hope you had a good time!) Leaving the shop last night, Leigh and I cruised by Doug Fir to get a couple picture of Watt’s boat. We did just that, and then some: 01. “Watt’s boat.” Got to shoot the shit with Watt about his boat, and my new purchase and V8s versus V10 Tritons, and konking strategies. What a king. Keep on jamming econo, Watt! THIS ONE IS FOR RYNO, THAT PINE-TARRED SONOFABITCH: Retired baseball logos. Baaaaaatter up! - - - - NOW THAT’S A COOL T-SHIRT: Ohio’s Sky-Way Drive-In gets some ink. - - - - KING OF THE BREEDS: I like small dogs, and now I like small horses. Thumbelina, the little horse that could. Of course, she’s even got her very own little site. Cute, with a vengeance. - - - - ON THE PLAYER TODAY, AND PROB’LY ALL WEEKEND: 01. Wilco - Wilco (The Album) (“*****”) There Are 3 Comments
