Six days out! Next Wednesday, over at Office on Alberta Street. My very first solo art show thing. Mom and Dad are flying in from Michigan for support. I’ve got some art pieces brewing up, and a big poster celebrating pretty much everything we’ve ever made up to May 27th. Just handed that off to the printer. New shirts on the way too. And stickers. And other goodies. Art pieces, up on a wall. people. Plus surprises. Come and check it out. Office does a way better job talking about it: Sat May 30 | TRUNK SHOW: Field Notes and Paper Goods by Draplin Design Company There you go. A couple fun event with way too much DDC going on. Gonna be fun. If I fail you, at least you can hang with my mom and dad some. - - - - CONCERNING YOUR MEATS, THIS IS GOOD TO KNOW: Learn about all that stuff on yer tires. - - - - WELCOME TO THE PUSZONE: This kind of nastiness I grew up on! A dusty, old Pushead site! I remember hearing a story about how Pushead got a quarter for each Metallica shirt sold with his stuff on it. That must’ve been one pretty penny. Damn. I know I contributed a good 75 cents to that mess. - - - - WHEN IN DOUBT, LOOK AT TRAINS: Baltimore’s Neal Shaffer riffs on “boxcar logos.” The train comes by the shop every couple hours. Sometimes I’ll take Gary down to check out the type and logos. Some of the best stuff going. Like a movie or something, standing out there on those train tracks. Here’s a little more focus on the subject. Like this and this one, which is one of our favorites of all damn time. - - - - REQUIRED VIEWING: Hyunsuk’s Military Watch Gallery. A nice collection of old military watches. Call me an American Patriot, but I’m partial to the stuff stateside. I’ve been called worse. There Are 11 Comments

I would LOOOVE to come show my support but I’m just a little ways away. Let me know if you plan on selling any of your posters and I’ll GLADLY purchase one. Congrats on your recent endeavors and I look forward to seeing the posts. Posted by: Mike Kirkpatrick on 05/22/09 at 9:57 AM
Awesome news Aaron. Wish I could actually be there in person to cheer you on; instead I’ll just yell really loud from across the pond, ok? Can’t believe it’s actually your first solo-show, thought you would have had a few of these under your belt by now; even more reason to savor the moment. Congrads! And thanks for being an inspiration to us all. Break both legs ya’ fucker! Posted by: Jamie on 05/22/09 at 4:57 PM
