GREAT, GREAT TYPE IN THOSE OLD DISPLAYS: Brighton & London Easter 2009 Scary skeletons and great type. Incredible stuff. Weird, really. This is the same deal in Chicago at the Field Museum. POOR, POOR CHILDREN: I’m going over to PSU this morning to “talk to the kids about graphic arts.” The ever obsessive/consumptive Kate Bingaman-Burt challenged me to a cage match with her flock of delicate pupils. You little shits better be ready.

IN WITH THE NEW: Tyler Lang and better half Elsa Chaves came in yesterday for a quick visit. Together they do a deal called, Always With Honor. These kids have some pretty serious talent. They met in Florida. There you go. Florida, again.

Here’s a poster Tyler did for the Ringling School of Art and Design. I’m pretty sure I’ve shown this before on here. I remember seeing it and going, “Man, that’s pretty great.” and screen-grabbing it for my inspiration folder.

Check out this one called, “Glory Of Vermont” that they did. We dig. Hard.

They are thinking about moving to Portland. My stock just went way down. Shit. These kids will do just fine wherever the hell they go. Being nice goes a long way. Nice to have met you, Tyler and Elsa! Thanks.
