I keep going back to that link from last week. In fact, it has to due to that fact that on my way driving up to Seattle last week, I saw the exit sign with the “turn off now for The Flight Museum” sign. So it’s been on the thinker. I gotta hit it the next time I’m up there. You know, you pass up big Boeing there on the left, and there’s always a plane taking off or landing, and there’s something settling about that. So anyway, I keep going back to their collection of airline logos. I’m just floored by it. The size, color, forms. The kinda shit I freak out on. So much to be learned from it all. This link is just that good, so I’m doubling back for more, and you should too. - - - - I MADE A FOLDER TODAY CALLED, “WLYS_2009” AND, WELL…: It stands for “World Longest Yard Sale 2009,” and by their count there’s a mere “117 days, 11 hours, 24 minutes and 40 seconds” or so until the sonofbitch starts up. It’s a safe bet to say the DDC will be there in fill effect. And I’ll just put it out there right now, for all to read: 01. Dale Allen Dixon better be there. Better be. Just so you know who yer messin’ with, Highway 127: Here’s the guy you’ll be staring down. Already thinking up a new campaign for the site. Here’s last summer’s outlay. A real stretch for us “graphically,” eh? LIke we give a rat’s ass. - - - - IF YOU HAVE THE SUNDANCE CHANNEL, YOU ARE A LUCKY HUMAN: Confessions of a Superhero has its television premiere on Sundance Channel this Monday this Monday April 13 at 9pm. Plus, you can watch it on Hulu, and here’s the link from Mr. Ogens himself: Confessions of a Superhero on Hulu. Very, very recommended by the DDC factory floor. - - - - SOME HEAVY POLYNESIA GOING ON IN THIS ONE: This one is for my man Ryno, who went through a little Tiki Phase” maybe 4-5 years back: A Flickr set called, “Tiki: Native Drums in the Orange Grove.” I never did get in on the whole Tiki thing. I’m from Lake Michigan. No palm tree, coconuts or dude twirling fire things up that way. (Dragged back from mysterious island cultures by “man in the sand” Scott Leverenz. Thanks!) - - - - THE BEST THING I’VE SEEN ON FFFFOUND IN SOME TIME: A couple old Thomas’ Register books. Wow. - - - - SCARY TECHNOLOGY TO THINK ABOUT: My business partner and good buddy Goo sent me this link, all freaked out on robots and growing humanoid tissue out of rat dicks or what ever. Yikes. In the future, I want to look like Indiana Jones. That fucker had a rugged type of class. Until then, so it goes. - - - - ON THE PLAYER TODAY: The Seeds - The Seeds & 13th Floor Elevators - The Psychedelic Sounds of the 13th Floor Elevators There is One Comment
