Good lookin’ “21” ligature, eh? I think so. Found it in an antique mall down in Salem yesterday on the back of an old Seattle Expo coloring book. Dale, Jess and I made a quick run down there to follow up on a couple leads. Highway 99, all the way down. You know, Salem, Oregon. The state capital of Oregon. I now know it as, “The Warm City.” My ass. Every antique or junk shop we walked into was met by cold stares and concerned frowns. Maybe it was just us? Prob’ly was. - - - - WHAT AN AMAZING WORLD: Artifacts from Michael Jackson’s fantastically insane ranch. You just can’t help by feel bad for the guy, or something. - - - - FROM CAMP STURGILL: Stapler of the Week. Just bookmarked this one, and will be hitting it every goddamn week. Awesome. A man’s gotta have a good stapler. Simple truth. - - - - ON THE PLAYER RIGHT NOW: Wild in the Streets by those Circle Jerks. First punk rock I ever saw. 1990. I was 16. Right up against the stage. St. Andrew’s Hall in Detroit. We knew all the lyrics. - - - - GREEN SCENE: My buddy Jesse Huffman helped build a new project called, “Green Patriot Posters.” Check ‘em out, get inspired, make up some good mixes of green and get to work. - - - - GOING DOWN TO FLORIDA: The permanent collection of junk at Lightnin’ Salvage in Gainesville, Flor. All kinds of cool stuff. The Guest Collections are pretty boss too. Add Florida to my list. I gotta get down there, and soon. Janeen Smith sent this one in, and this one is right from my big mouth: “Dale and I might be down there in August. Tell Mark to be ready for us. Could get ugly.” There Are 3 Comments

“Wild in the streets! Runnin’…runnin’…” Not surprising, my favorite punk power song while running. JFA “Pipe Truck” a close second. Posted by: Nate on 02/18/09 at 8:13 AM
Stapler of the Week is one of my favourite blogs. It’s definitely helped inspire my own collection. Super nice guy when you’ve got a question too. He just covered my all time favourite, the Swingline Cub Plier. Posted by: jonjohnson on 02/18/09 at 9:17 PM
