The sign above was acquired this afternoon in a junk store in downtown McCoy, 10 miles south of McMinnville. The asking price was $50. I got the gal down to $40 and peeled off a couple sweaty twenty notes and got the hell out of there.

18 inches in diameter on thick gauge aluminum. This one will be going up in the shop, and soon. Count on it.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR: The 50-dollar logo experiment. (Via Coudal.com.)

FOR THAT SPARE “ENTERTAINMENT” ROOM: Analog Nights wallpaper.

END OF AN ERA: Touch and Go regretfully downsizes.

A LINK FROM A BUDDY IN THE SAME TOWN THE LOST BOYS WAS FILMED: Eric Richter comes in way hot with a link about old “BMC Paint Chip Cards.” You better click the “content” links, if you know what’s good for you. Great stuff.

FROM LEIGH: “A new way to think about creativity.” Just click it, hide the window, and listen up while working on stuff. Creativity is a weird, seductive, magical thing.

Things will hit me in the shower, or just dozing off, or in the car on the way to work. Random, inopportune times. Field Notes. That’s what I grab for and I write that shit down, and act on it as soon as I can. Otherwise, I forget it. My technique to harness this stuff. Heck yeah.
