DAYWRECKER WARNING: Ben Pieratt’s incredible Book Cover Archive. Yes, yes and absolutely. And my favorite of the bunch. Love it. (Brought to my attention by MCAD colleague Justin Braem.) - - - - GOOD LINES: Rick Froberg, incredible Illustrator, and rocker in San Diego outfits like RFTC, Drive Like Jehu, Hot Snakes and Obits. I’ve loved those Hot Snakes album covers over the years. - - - - SOME GOOD READING HERE: The (Mostly) True Story of Helvetica and the New York City Subway. Wow. - - - - WAY HIRSUTE: Derek “Hennepin Shuffle” Schille comes in real hairy with this old piece of clip art proclaiming, “Don’t Knock The U.S. Male!” Don’t do it. Pretty beardy.
