My friend Larry is usually wrong. On all sorts of things. But he’s right on one thing: He roots for the Denver Nuggets, And this one gets a little complicated as, I could a rat’s turd less if the Nuggets win, lose, or get sold off. But that is changing with the discovery of their new logo update. If cornered, I’d put my money on the Trailblazers here in town, or on those Pistons back in Detroit, due to my Southeastern Michigan beginnings and nothing more. “It’s been that way for a while, dude,” is what Larry had to say, shaking his head. The mountains above are the best part of the logo, so that’s what we’ve got going on above on this fuckoffable Sunday night. Nothing more to say about this one.

Watch your site almost everyday. Was looking at some golf gear, and when I started looking at the designs, thought of you and your Draplin Project Teaser. Here was someone who is doing it right. We all aren’t Fucked if we spend our money wisely and with those that get it. Check out www.scottycameron.com. Even if you aren’t a golfer I think you will enjoy the work. Keep up the good fight. always enjoy the diversity of talk ‘round here. I was just thinking of old NBA logos while watching the Boston/Charlotte game & reading Red Auerbach’s “Let Me Tell You A Story” —- and thinking back to your post about the new/old Trailblazers logo. they may not have a snazzy new logo, but the Boston Celtics are top of my list now and forever. Ha. (and have been —- 22 years of misery preceeded last year’s glory; no fairweather fan am I). I never really noticed that gem in the new DEN logo. Probably b/c i was always pissed they got rid of the old rainbow-skyline logo (c.1981-93): http://www.nba.com/nuggets/history/history_index.html

I think this is only their secondary logo. They retain the mountain with the weird Denver Nuggets lettering as their primary logo. Nonetheless, this IS pretty kick ass. Posted by: Armin Vit on 12/03/08 at 6:30 AM
