Oh man, did I score something kick-ass over the weekend! At an estate sale. With Mark Phillips as backup. A new acquisition to the DDC Factory Floor. I rescued a 200lb Diebold safe! Heavy as hell. Built like a brick shithouse. For storing things like: 01. Riches. The thing is over at the local “Safe Shop” getting tuned up and ready for protection. Here’s some shots from the handoff this morning, so you know what we’re working with here: 01. “Landlocked inside Big S.” - - - - THE “KING OF THE ESCAPISTS”: Here’s a guy who escapes all kinds of shit. Pretty much, just, “awesome all around.” And, has no fear of nasty, old safes. (You gotta scroll over to get to the selected images.) LOCK ‘EM UP: Tons of old Railroad Lock & Key sets. - - - - THE END IS SORTA NEAR: Check out the “Doomsday Seed Vault Photo Gallery” - - - - IGNORE THE E-CARD CRAP, BUT DIG ON THE AD: But be sure to check out this old locksmithing ad. Pretty cool. - - - - FOR WHEN THIS GRAPHIC DESIGN BULLSHIT GOES SOUTH: A new life in Van Nuys. - - - - A GALLERY THAT YOU ARE REQUIRED TO VIEW: “Locksmiths and their vans” by Rick Streifel. So good. Man. Let’s get to work! There Are 7 Comments

Be lucky if you’ve got anything to stuff in that safe these days. A timely purchase in uncertain times. Love, Rev. V.R. LaVecchia. Posted by: Vince LaVecchia on 10/07/08 at 4:10 PM

Ah, Diebold, the same great company that brought us Election Fraud 2000 and Election Fraud Part Deux: Electric Boogaloo. Your stuff is in good hands! Was it stuffed full of Republican votes when you bought it? Posted by: "Diebold Election Fraud" Chmiel on 10/08/08 at 5:31 PM
