Drawing up plans for the next couple adventures. Got a little business to attend to in Chicago, Iowa and Ohio. Figuring out routes. Might make a rule for the jaunt: As little time on the Interstates as possible. Gotta slow down out there, gotta slow down. You just see so much more on the secondary roads. So much more. - - - - Highlight of the day: Lunch downtown with Leigh at Amical. She some tuna slices on crackers with some kind of reduction stuff on them. I had pasta with a light garlic sauce. Real good. - - - - The Mt. Everest of identity design: Chermayeff & Geismar. Thank you. - - - - Take a walk in Gary, Minnesota. A place I gotta hit up, some fine day. - - - - A poster I love: Graphis 190 –– 1977/78 Via the ever-inspiring Swiss Legacy Pool on flickr. - - - - Hoss makes contact and offers up a link that makes my skin crawl, graphically: Calling cards. - - - - Go Ducks! hello aaron, i was excited yesterday to arrive back from my deliveries at work to find my order of field notes and guitar picks (along with other cool stuff) in a package waiting on my desk. i was very, very sastisfied with my purchase! great cool shit! also loved the illustration on the package of gary barking, defending the compound, while ‘letting a little go’ on the rug. Surprised that Natalie didn’t give you enough dirty looks and salty words to get a mention at your Amical lunch. I was glad to see you however weird it was. And I’m glad to hear your field notes are so hot. Coulda used some in Prague this summer… Posted by: Megg on 10/03/07 at 6:15 PM
