Aaron, it looks like you are having fun out there in the midwest, but I need to tell you that you are missing the most gorgeous fall day here in Portland… a 64 degree display of all of God’s glory.

and looky there…Burst Labs might be in Milwaukee, but the site was made by Portland kids JD Hooge & David Knape.

Man, thanks so much for the reciprocal link love! Super cool you dig the site… it’s been an extended labor of love, something I am certain you know a little about.

Very best to you, Draplin.

Peace and harmony,
from all (three) of us at Burst Labs

@ mister jason

JD & David killed it, eh? JD designed our main corporate identity (The Burst Collective) a few years ago, and his aesthetic was in my head from the earliest stages of our music licensing venture. I completely spaced on the Portland connection!

What is it about the city? A friend who’s a recording engineer just move there last year, as well.

You need to add a discliamer and post a picture of how the house on Brooks Street looked when Mom and Dad owned it! That picture is scary!

They took off the wrap around porch, took down those great big trees that were in the front yard and haven’t kept up on the lawn. Yeah, I understand it’s been 20 years now (WOW) but I think it breaks Mom and Dad’s hearts to see the home they remodeled so beautifully become such a mess.

And, remember the time you were shooting your BB gun and it ricocheted off of one of the garages and hit me? Real nice!

Have fun taking care of the dogs!
