Just wrapping up this-n-that’s all day today. The mag is done. The files are uploaded. Paying some bills. Cashing some checks. Looking over routes. Doing math. All good stuff. The backwoods approach might not be the most professional, but, then again, I’ve seen some of the “professionals” out there and how they go about it, and, well, no thanks. I like the idea of trusting each other and working hard to make good stuff. Simple enough. - - - - Giving freelancing a bad name since, well, a long time: I talk about my freelancing “business practices” in a Coroflot article. - - - - From Media Knieval, items that are “Still made in the USA.” Heck yes. Do yer part. Buy American. It’s time we put the spirit of this country first again, instead of hoarding bottomline profits. Bush’s America ain’t the America I am talking about. Get the fuck out of the big boxes and pay a couple extra cents to support the people stateside. I find that sort of practice very patriotic. - - - - Field Notes are proudly made in Portland, Oregon. They are shipped out of Chicago, Illinois using the United Parcel Service, which, will ship just about anywhere. This is how we do it, proudly. - - - - Leatherman. Proudly made in Portland, Oregon!
