A logo we love. Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc, 1974. - - - - Saw 300 last night with Larry. (The “Getting Out” pledge, right?) Pretty impressive, but, kinda fucked overall, considering the world we live in. Real dramatic and tense and dripping with honor and glory and other ancient ideals long forgotten. Lots of blood, too. - - - - REQUIRED VIEWING: “There no other dog like a dachshund.” About time someone speaks thge goddamn truth. Learn a little something about Gary, already. (This spirit lifter was sent in by Ryan McDonald, and, well, we’d like to say, “Thanks so much.” for the generosity.) Needy and fierce. A nice mix. Goddammit, Gary. - - - - What a great internet: A million condiment packages. (Horked this one off the Coudal Partners site, shamelessly.) - - - - Iowa Brad sent this one in: Lettermade. Very, very nice. A “must see” link for all signage afficionados. Thanks, man, and, bravo. - - - - All kinds of beauty here, and, with wild-ass color: Lost America. Dig around some. There are some fascinating images buried on this one. Our favorite: A Joshua Tree. Really, really nice, and, so, uh, “plastic-y” or something. Makes all that old wreckage look real accessible and smooth and nice, when, in real life, the shit’s sharp and dangerous and you are usually breaking some sort of desert law by digging around in the place. (Sent in by Andrew down in Eugene. Thanks.) There Are 2 Comments
Loved the Dachshund Friendship Club - you need to start one up in Portland. Lots of loyal pet owners, full proof you are not crazy. Ferocious, yet loving, loyal and needy…..it’s in his blood. He’s a lot like you - ferocious, loving, loyal, but needy? Maybe some of your independence will rub off on him…..Keep him gated. I love that dog. Posted by: momma d. on 05/01/07 at 10:09 AM
Great posting of mass shit… loved all of it… i now appreciate Gary’s shrill yap. Condiment packaging is something I’ve always wanted to do, seriously. Think about it, you can do free design and ask for a 10ยข royalty for everyone purchased. Ahhhhhhh, dessert art, OUCH! Posted by: styk on 05/01/07 at 9:57 PM
