Some Field Notes News: 01. Steady sales at Office in Portland. 02. Our first international sale: Some bloke in London. 03. “People dig ‘em.” is what Kevin Nimick of Portland’s “The Office” skateshop had to say. 04. Selling like hotcakes out in Utah at Firefeliz.com Field Notes are being sold in a couple fine establishments, as a bit of a “Field Test” to see how they sell, how they hold up, and what folks are thinking when they pick them for the first time. This, of course, is our first foray into any sort of actual “exchange of money.” Up to this point, it’s been a “Hey man, you want one?” sort of thing, and damn, it’s been amazing to see friends and colleagues, and even a couple strangers using these. It’s been hard to keep our big mouths shut, too. I’ve wanted to announce these things since the day they came off the press, but, until we can launch properly, we’ve got to keep stuff kinda quiet. So, around our little town of Portland, I’ve been handing them out like mad, and, hell, everywhere in my travels. Hell, come to think of it, I handed out a mountain of them in Europe too. So, well, they are all over the globe, kinda, which, is pretty fun to think about. A comprehensive web site is in the works, but that’s all we are gonna say about it, you ruffians.
