Heading out of Indianapolis today, due south pretty much towards Bloomington. Gotta check that town out. First, John Cougar Mellencamp calls it home, second, that just might be it. Wait, a great record label called Secretly Canadian is outta there, as well as a slew of flatlander Indie bands. I’m pretty sure Molina and all the Songs:Ohia/Magnolia stuff has something to do with Bloomington. That Secretly label has all kinds of good stuff: A roster. I know that Son Volt always made a stop there on their tours, so it must be some kind of college town outpost. We’re gonna get to the bottom of this one, goddammit. - - - - Custom pencils: Explicity Yours. There is One Comment
Dude, ‘Authority Song’ is a favorite - enthusiastically and un-ironically. Also, it’s weird that the Jacksons are from Indiana. Posted by: DB on 03/28/07 at 5:05 PM
