Raining lots in Portland these days. We dig it. Well, except Gary. He ain’t having it. - - - - Had a nice lunch with Christa Skinner today. Pesto noodles down at La Buca. Pouring rain outside. I’ve been a fan of Christa’s work since 2000 or so, with her work on the magazine Blue. Good stuff. Nice color, nice shapes. She did a couple months in Portland working for a company called, “Nike,” and is now off to New York. Whirlwind! - - - - Getting excited for this one: Helvetica: A Documentary Film - - - - Handed off both Coal catalogs today to Brad. He was down in town for a night to celebrate Mark Welsh’s wedding up at Mt. Hood. Congrats to Welsh. The books will be handed off to our printers in Seattle tomorrow, with fingers crossed for smooth processing, and, delivery before 2007. Heck yes. Finally. Load off our backs. - - - - Gigantically recommended by the DDC: Pictograms, Icons & Signs - - - - Thought Ninjas. Hiiiii-ya! There Are 3 Comments
