Here’s how we spent our big day celebrating our Freedom…

01. Drove through Compton.
02. Checked out the Watts towers.
03. Took Crenshaw Avenue all the way from Long Beach to LA.
04. Drove the entire stretch of Ventura Blvd.
05. Drove an outback stretch of Mulholland Drive. Very dusty.
06. Had some chicken and waffles at Roscoes.
07. Saw many, many limos whizzing to-and-fro.
08. Drove down the 101 a stretch, out of Malibu.
09. Can’t believe the word “Malibu” made it on this blog. Fuck.
10. Hit up the bookstore “Wacko” for some shoplifting.
11. Bought a star map and gawked at the gates of some stars.
12. Saw Ozzy’s house.
13. Drove by the Playboy mansion and heard frolicking bunnies.
14. Sat in front of Paris Hilton’s castle and felt gross.
15. Had a good laugh outside the driveway of Lloyd Bridges. (Who?)
16. Houses? Nah, “prisons,” if you ask me.
17. Had a dog at Pink’s.
18. Thought about what it would be like to have “50 million in the bank.”
19. Drove Avalon Blvd. all the way back to Long Beach.
20. Got a coconut bar from some barrio corner store.
21. Took the dogs to a dog park and wore them out.
22. Checked some emails.
23. Watched a little “Dirty Jobs.”
24. Passed out on Rose’s couch.
25. Felt free, and, thankful. Glad I don’t live down in this hellhole.
