Kurtie got into town, after a long haul out from Detroit. He’s setting up shop with Loren at an undisclosed location in North Portland, as we type this. We had a slice of pizza with them tonight at Bella Foccia over on Alberta. I think he’s gonna like it here.

Ryno hopped a train outta Minneapolis tonight, and will be here on Saturday morning, piss drunk and wild. Lots of claims coming out of him regarding this mission: “Goddammit Draplin, I plan on being drunk the whole time. ” Or something like that. Plans to “howl at the moon” are being made. In fact, there’s an open mic night just down the street at the Driftwood, and, if we can get it together, we might debut our new songs. Kurtie, write some hot lick solos for us.
