the pogues are the perfect march band. theyre playing 2 dates here on their very short US “tour.” im not going because im afraid shane macgowan will die on stage.

for march listening, i also recommend:

wolfmother - dimensions ep. im sure they will be huge w/i a year, but in the meantime enjoy a fresh take on stoner rock
death vessel - stay close. a dude from providence approaching neo folk with a very convincing soprano. this album totally blows my mind
