Veg-ass Plans:Got to thinkin’ late last night as we were wrapping up a couple more pages for that God-blasted Grenade catalog. I was missing my dad real bad all week long for some reason, and, either due to the lateness of the hour, and/or combined with a little sadness, I decided that he needed to be with me at the SIA tradeshow this year.

The SIA tradeshow is the annual Snowsports show where all the ski and snowboard companies peddle their newest wares to the the retail world. I’ll be down there helping out my brands during the day, and “taking Vegas for all she’s got” at night.

And hell, he should be there too.

So I got him a ticket and booked a couple rooms for us. He’s flying in Tuesday the 24th and headin’ out on Thursday the 26th, just as I take off across the desert over to Los Angeles to catch my flight to Munich the next morning. Phew.

Should be a good couple days with him on my team.

We Did Exploit:The Grenerds have been holed up at the ranch all week long. Been chained to the machine the whole fuckin’ time. Tonight, just past midnight, I preflighted the document (56 page and only 3 RGB infractions!) and the “collected” that sucker into a folder.

Done. Bam. 56 pages, just like that.

Congrats to Grenade. Special thanks to Pinski, Neefus and Lovejoy for a real ‘bang up job’ on the the page/file prep…atta boys. Extra special thanks to Nicole for a week’s worth of amazing meals. (The gal can cook!) A couple thank to Matt Kass for asking every conceivable question, after I answered the same fucking conceivable question moments before. That kid wears me out.

Gary Update: Hardly any accidents in the house this week. Only a couple. He played real hard with “little Elvis” the baby bulldog. Man, they went at it.

02. Wrapping up a grillion projects for Coal.
03. Handing off a files for a “soon-be-announced-top-secret” project. Stand by.
04. Seeing the enchantin’ Emily Walter of Northern Michigan, for a nice lunch.
05. Seeing Kurtie for the day, while he was out scoping real estate.
06. Paying some taxes and feeling good about it.
07. Breathing a sigh of relief that the Union catalog came out okay.
08. Handing off the Coal catalog to the printer.
09. Keeping the guitars in tune for the most part.
10. Being on the radio across a country to the north called, “C-A-N-A-D-A.”
